Case Developments (1996 – 2004)

NCLEJ monitors litigation developments related to the range of economic justice issues it addresses.

The following are summaries of case developments in public benefits litigation reported in the Center's former publication, Welfare Bulletin, between 1996 and mid- 2004. Please note that there may have been subsequent developments in the matters noted in these reports, and that they are not intended as a description of the latest developments in a particular case or as a description of the only cases involving a particular issue.

For additional information on poverty law litigation developments, visit the website of the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, www.povertylaw.org. The Shriver Center maintains a library with the case papers in thousands of cases brought by advocates for low-income people over thirty years addressing a wide range of poverty law issues.
